Associate of Science in Enterprise Network Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, Bachelor of Music, Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature, and Bachelor of Science in Psychology.
The undergraduate programs aim to:
• Provide students with the knowledge and understanding of the basic functional, and theoretical areas of the various disciplines
• Provide students with in-depth understanding of at least one area of concentration in one of the disciplines.
• Develop the students’ critical ability to analyze problems in the field of their concentration and apply the skills taught to determine a range of recommendations and outcomes.
• Develop the students’ ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written English, and confidently use the language across the professions.
• Develop the students’ understanding, appreciation, and productive use of information literacy, technological resources and critical thinking skills throughout the program disciplines.
• Enhance the students’ appreciation for the international, cultural and ethical environments in which different varieties of businesses and institutions operate.
• Provide students with the necessary quantitative skills for analytical and critical reasoning.
• Provide students with a comprehensive liberal arts education which will foster and encourage the ability to understand and manage human and material resources effectively, as well as engage in creative problem-solving that will prepare them for future careers and/or graduate studies.
• Foster critical thinking and communication skills with a developed understanding of the English language and its uses across the disciplines.
• Develop multiple competencies across the disciplines through the General Education course requirements that offer a knowledge base for a range of career options.
• Develop students’ effective writing skills through the writing across the curriculum (WAC) program that will strengthen students’ expository and professional writing abilities.
• Teach research skills across the disciplines and encourage life-long interest in research projects in the students’ field of interest and/or career.
Students who are admitted to the academic programs of Hellenic American University enroll in appropriate courses with the counsel of a mentor.
