Description
Hellenic American University, anticipating rapid advancements in technology and the need for highly skilled and trained professionals for the IT Market, has developed the Master of Science in Information Technology Degree Program to prepare IT professionals with the appropriate competences to be employed in an IT company or in an IT department of a company. The foundation principles of the program include understanding of systems integration, the need to add cognitive and career value, the creation of a core of knowledge shared by all graduates, and the integration of non-IT skills such as management and communication skills. The principles lead to the specification of a curriculum that includes four major components (see figure bellow): foundations (prerequisites), the core, organization systems integration, and a career track upon which other professional competencies are developed.
